The PS Plus Collection is losing Persona 5 this week, and gamers only have a short time to add it to their collection on PS5 consoles.
The good news is that while gamers are losing a title this month, the entire Collection will remain intact.
And with so many new tiers and services merging over the coming weeks, here’s what you need to know about this week’s changes for PlayStation Plus.
When Is Persona 5 Leaving the PS Plus Collection?
Sony has confirmed that Persona 5 will be leaving the PS Plus Collection on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. That means current PlayStation Plus subscribers only have until that date to add the game to their library. Anyone who does this before the end date will have the chance to continue playing the RPG via their PS5 console. The PlayStation Plus Collection has also been made available via the PS Store in the past, making it possible for those without a PS5 console to add games to their library for future use.
And as you might expect, the PS Plus Collection games only remain available to those who continue subscribing each month, and with so many new tiers going live over the coming weeks, things are about to get a little more complicated. However, Sony has confirmed that they will not be discontinuing the Collection alongside the new tiers, meaning everyone can still enjoy what is on, including the following titles:
Bloodborne, Days Gone, Detroit: Become Human, God of War, Infamous Second Son, Ratchet and Clank, The Last Guardian, The Last of Us Remastered, Until Dawn, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Batman: Arkham Knight, Battlefield 1, Call of Duty: Black Ops III – Zombies Chronicles Edition, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Fallout 4, Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition, Monster Hunter: World, Mortal Kombat X, and Resident Evil 7 biohazard.
