WhatsApp working on viewing group poll results feature

WhatsApp is reportedly developing a feature which enables group members to create a poll. Recently, it was reported that the popular messaging app is working on introducing the ability to create a poll within a group. Now another report has surfaced online revealing that the app is also working on viewing group poll results. The feature is said to be rolled out with future updates.
As reported by WABetaInfo, following the development of group polls, the app is now also working on viewing group poll results. As per the screenshot shared by the WhatsApp build tracker, all the participants in the group will be able to view the results of a poll. The best option will be pinned at the top titled ‘Top Option’. Along with this, the participants will also be able to see the percentage of every option.
WABetaInfo mentions that at this moment it is not possible to view who selected a specific option, but with the final update, the app may include that as well.
WABetaInfo has also mentioned that group polls, available options, and your answer, are all encrypted. As the feature is still under development, you can not create or send polls. It is also known how many options can be given for a poll. According to the report, the feature will still take some time to reach the rollout stage.
The feature to create a group poll was already available on Facebook Messengers and will also be available on Instagram soon.
